Outgames 2006
The first Outgames, Rendez-Vous Montréal 2006, will take place from Saturday, 29 July to Saturday, 5 August 2006. The Outgames are a safe and accepting environment where participants may express themselves openly and enjoy the camaraderie and rewards of sport, culture and art. As individuals, participants celebrate personal achievement; as a collective, we experience group solidarity and celebrate the diversity and scope of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities.
Ottawa Frontrunners is attending the Outgames as a team. Currently we have about 25 members registered. We have also arranged accommodation at the Université du Québec à Montréal.
