Outgames reflections: Suman Bhattacharyya
The Outgames half-marathon was the friendliest race that I have ever completed. Throughout the course of the event, I talked to several other runners from around the world. Plenty of Montréalers and athletes from other teams and sporting categories showed up to cheer us on, and that certainly made the distance seem a lot shorter. Though I participated more for the experience rather than to make significant strides in my performance, I finished with a personal best. It will be an experience that I will remember for years to come!
