José Mari Perez
José is a founding member of OFR and member-at-large on the executive committee. He is also the newsletter editor for the Club, and he welcomes your ideas for future newsletters. He usually runs around 5 km at a slow pace, enjoys running the 5 and 10 km distances at races around the city, and is an avid sprinter having competed in the 100 m sprint and several relays at the 1st world Outgames in Montréal this past summer (August 2006).
Aside from running, he often is seen working out at the Goodlife gym at the Rideau Centre or snapping photos around Ottawa. He is the Senior Publication Officer for the Canadian Journal of Zoology at the National Research Council Research Press.
