Wendy Rose
Wendy is co-chair of the executive committee. She loves fitness and wanted to get involved with the GLBTQ community through a fitness-oriented organization. She is a short-distance runner and races as a social activity with members of the group rather than competitively. As co-chair, Wendy focuses on supporting female participation in the group and hopes to bring about a fully gender-balanced organization.
In addition to running, Wendy swims with the Ottawa Rideau Speedeaus, and hikes with TimeOut Hiking Ottawa. She is an OR nurse at Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus, and has nursed for 22 years! Wendy is the mother of three children.
